Belhaven Scottish Stout is well-rounded, full-bodied and pleasantly malty. The roasted malt tastes really strong, there is also dark chocolate, coffee, spiciness and a hint of dark syrup, even molasses. The hopping does not overpower, but allows the solid malt body to come out beautifully. An enjoyable dark beer from Scotland!
